Department of English

The department of English is established in 1977. The department of English offers under-graduate and post-graduate programs in English. The postgraduate program i.e., M.A. English was introduced in 2014. Functional English: A vocational course is introduced to impart employability skills to students since 1999. The department also runs certificate courses in Communication skills in English, German Language, Business Communication and English for Professionals. The department aims to enhance communicational skills, translation skills, employability skills of the students. There is Departmental Library and Station-e Language Lab.
